This is an NFT of my origami SpaceBoat design. I myself created this design, and this is the one and only design available in the world. Even I myself can’t recreate the same design because the folds are soo complicated that if I open the folds, its pretty much impossible to get back to the same folds. The craft is an NFT in itself. This SpaceBoat is made from a receipt that comes out of an ATM after you withdraw money from it. You can read ‘Axis Bank’ on the paper. It was made atleast a decade ago. This SpaceBoat design is soo tiny, almost twice the size of a quarter-dollar coin. As you can see, the SpaceBoat has soo many tiny folds in it that it’s pretty much impossible to unfold without tearing the paper, and it’s definitely impossible to recreate the design. This SpaceBoat design is my top favourite and was made atleast a decade ago when I was in my 12th grade. I really love the multiple symmetric wings, that pop out from multiple locations of the SpaceBoat. This SpaceBoat is capable of attaching multiple accessories on it, which can make it convert into a really big SpaceShip! Infact, the biggest SpaceBoat that I made was by attaching multiple accessories to this SpaceBoat, and it looked MindBlowing! I have a picture of it available on my website. This SpaceBoat design was made atleast a decade ago when I was in my th grade. I don’t know what the final design would look like in while I am creating my design. I am just going with the flow of thoughts in my mind. At some point, I decided to inverse the wings of the SpaceBoat, and it turned out to be a cooler-looking and completely new kind of design. As the name expresses, this SpaceBoat has a tiny and AGGRESSIVE vibe that is always ready for a formidable adventure! This SpaceBoat is my top favourite design among all the tiny designs, it’s as tiny as a quarter-dollar coin! This SpaceBoat was made from a tiny strip of paper that remains after you cut a square shape from a rectangle paper. This Design has soo many complex and detailed folds, that it seems prettymuch impossible to unfold it, and absolutely impossible to recreate the design. This SpaceBoat was created atleast a decade ago when I was in my 11th grade in school. If you buy this NFT, I will also send you the original origami design with it.

This SpaceBoat was created atleast a decade ago when I was in my Second year of studying Physics in college in India. My Calculus professor discriminated against me based on linguistic differences, and he failed me in Calculus and LinerAlgebra. The results got reflected on my mark-sheet, and I decided to create a SpaceBoat out of the mark-sheet to transform the ‘declaration of failure’ into a ‘vehicle of freedom.’ The back of this SpaceBoat is my most favourite back of all the SpaceBoats I’ve created! This SpaceBoat was created about 10 years ago when I was taking a course to learn about Computer Networking Hardware in India. This SpaceBoat looks like a really cool fighter jet plane! This SpaceBoat is about the size of your palm and has a really cool and solid wings design. If you buy this NFT, I will also send you the original origami design with it.

This SpaceBoat was created about 10 years ago when I was in 12th grade. This SpaceBoat is the size of about 3 quarter dollar coins. This SpaceBoat has really cool wings and the back, it has soo many tiny folds that are super detailed that it’s prettymuch impossible to recreate it. The shape of this SpaceBoat looks a bit like the dress of Bella from Beauty and the Beast, hence it’s named Bella. This SpaceBoat is one of my top favourite designs, and it looks really cool! This SpaceBoat was created about 5 years ago by a paper that has pictures and names of all the American presidents of the US until 2018. If you look at the wings of this SpaceBoat, you’ll see the vertical curves on it. This SpaceBoat has exaggerated 3D features, especially on the wings area, that make this SpaceBoat look uniquely cool as compared to all the other SpaceBoats. This SpaceBoat has a pretty simple design, yet it has pretty intricate folds where the wings of the SpaceBoats look like they’re kind of a jacket that is enclosing the whole SpaceBoat from the sides. Greetings, I am Jay Mehta. I make origami based SiFi type SpaceBoats designs. This website is a portfolio of all the designs I’ve made since my childhood. Check out my work and feel free to talk to me about it. I have a thick skin, so criticisms are warmly entertained.
Inspiration:
I watched a cartoon show called “SWATkats” in my third grade. The show takes place in a fictional world which is populated by human-like cats that are known as “Kats”. The heroes of the show are the two avenger piolets living in the metropolis city called “Megakat City.” These two piolets possess an ultracool fighter jet named “TurboKat” which they kept at the basement of their garage and used it to save MagaKat city from the monster attacks.
As a kid, I used to get super fascinated by TurboKat and hence, I made my first origami model of TurboKat and showed it to my classmate/bestfriend. My friend glued the two ‘verticle stabilizers’ to my design, and I had my first TurboKat! Since then, I kept on making various models of different designs with any random paper I found, and with time I got better at making them.
I always loved to study about Space and Astronomy and hence, I always labeled my models as space vehicles. It’s pretty recent that I came up with the name ‘SpaceBoats.’
